This is another extremly solid and functional bag you can work with everyday or just use for taking your Chinese-Crested to the mall. Large, but not nearly as large as the Freighter... more ideal for commuting or scummin' around. Will easily hold a 30 pack and a couple jackets but has 3 compression straps on each side and 2 on the bottom for a tighter, sleeker bag when you need it. As with the Freighter it is available in roll top or flap top styles. The flap top has a variable volume, with fold over upper that adds about 700 cubic inches of capacity when full and creates a superior water tight seal when folded over.The Schooner has two large, truly 3-D front pockets with several smaller pockets within them and one large pocket behind them. This bag includes an inner divider [ideal for a laptop], extra ballistic base layer, sternum strap, lock sized pocket on each side and a fully padded back.
